Monko (incense-smelling) Experience (Oie-school/Ryurei-seki (table seating))

It has been 500 years since tea and incense were first combined as a cultural art form. In Kodo (incense-smelling ceremony) inhaling the scent of the incense is called “listening.” Participants “listen” to the scent (monko) of the precious koboku aromatic wood in an experience that combines knowledge and fun. The experience will be accompanied by easily-understood explanations, making it enjoyable for everyone.
